Chronic complainer comeback

A friend works with a fellow who constantly complains and won't do one iota more because he's not paid enough. Friend took the brunt of his complaints, which she dumped on me. Finally I suggested the next time he starts in that she ask him why he's not working at a job that pays what he thinks he's worth. Yesterday, she did. Not a peep out of him all day.

Your story made me think of this...

When I was in High School, the girl that sat in front of me couldn't believe I wasn't religious, and talked down to me everyday, and preached to me quite a bit. I knew most religious people weren't like this (my Dad especially), and to avoid any confrontations, I kept my mouth shut from then on. But one day it got to be too much...

So I asked her, "M______? How long did it take God to make you?"
And she put her book down, turned around, gave me a very smug smile, and said, "One day!"
To which I replied, "Well, he rushed it."

She has NEVER spoken to me since.

(Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone, because it's not meant to. It was aimed at this person only!)
