Coby TF-DVD 530 portable DVD player??

Has anyone seen / used / owned one of these?

They are neat looking DVD players. Instead of that book style, they look like a big globe with a monitor in it and the base is for the DVD.

We've been looking at getting a portable DVD player for each of the girls for Christmas. It's their first so I'm not spending $100 on one. These are like $55 or $60.

I've only had one Coby product, but I hated it!! It was a cheap little MP3 type thing. So, I don't know if it's the product or I just chose junk that time out. I can't find any reviews on the DVD player; hoping someone here might know somethign??

Hope this works; a photo:

Looks like it didn't......

Green Broke
WEll, I've never had one, but we own a videogame and movie store, and run past the COBY brand stuff all the time. That looks like a neat unit...but the coby stuff makes me a little hesitant....all the dvd players in the past that I have owned have crapped out. They're mp3 players are kind of cheap too. But if it comes with a warranty of some sort than it might be more worth it. I personally (as well as other I know) have owned other Coby dvd players like I said...i went through 2 or 3 can't remember in a year. Sorry not of much help!
