I believe it is age 16 at earliest to be emancipated, through a lawyer/court orders. But if at 16, they need to have a place to go/prove they are financially stable/can support himself/have a job. Colorado Emancipation of Minor Law - Minors
Unless you are 18 you cannot legally 'run away.' That will just end up with the person being called a run away and having the cops called.
