Never tattoo yourself where it can not be covered up. Many employers make you cover your tattoos while working, and well.... you can't really wear gloves at work all day lol

Die your hair purple, or put it in spikes, avoid the permanent mutilation that can't be undone, especially in visible areas that will limit your future opportunities.
Honestly I don't care what the latest fads are. Tattoos are just trashy.

I have quite a few tattoos and work in corporate america at a very well known and global company. All of mine are not visible at work.

They all have significance for me and I don't think they are trashy at all. They are for me, not others.

So really think about what you want and where you want it. Then go for it!

Everyone, has their opinions about tattoos.. I agree. SOME tattoos are trashy.. some have meaning.. and I like them..

I know I am going to get 2 tattoos once I'm 18.. or atleast one for my bday. And my belly button pierced.. ;).. but hey..

I like your idea for the brand.. Since, it has meaing behind it!:)

I love tattoos, and have a few myself, but think of what a bunch of numbers tatted on your hand is going to look like. You could come up with a nice jail house story . Always consider what it looks like to others when you choose placement.

This can't be repeated enough. There are a lot of people out there that don't like tattoos and I can guarantee you if visible they'll cost you quite a few job opportunities through out your life. For example I don't want a tattoo myself but like looking at good ink. That said I would never hire anyone who had visible tattoos if there was any chance they would end up interacting with or even be seen by a customer.

Hmmm...I change my watch at least once a week because I get bored seeing the same thing on my wrist. I can't think of ANYTHING I would want to look at for 50 years on my body...or 30, since I'm already 55. Besides, at 55, I'm already learning that gravity can be delayed but not denied...

Joe, what does it matter to you? You come post the same thing in every tattoo thread about your dislike of them. It's not your skin. And tattoos have been around much longer than to be considered as just prison fads.

Sorry, OP. Back to the question: I agree with everyone else: just don't make a tattoo something you got just to get. I had a coworker with a simple tribal lizard on her foot. I asked about it and she said it was just her being 18 and wanting a tattoo. It was neat, but held no significance.

I do really like the freeze brand idea. I like it more as the actual symbols though. And if you did it small enough, the side of your wrist along one of the bones in your arm would be cool. It could be covered up by a couple of bracelets if needed.
