Corn

Should any particular group have to ASK that the ethanol mandate be suspended???? Ethanol for use as a biofuel is subsidized, otherwise it would be non-existant. Due to this ($$$ to be made from taxpayers) it has been produced over the target. This INSANE program costs the individual both in tax and disposable income. And, it is costing this country its cattle herd and much more.

.

I saw a report on the products that need Corn for their manufacture, there are over 3500 products that rely on Corn.

It is not just Ethanol that will be going up, of course shipping cost will rise and add to the cost of all products, but those 3500 products will also go up.

Should anyone have to ask? Common sense has long eluded Washington

Haha, well put.

Yeah, it is also worrisome that we export huge quantities. Other countries will put a ban on exports when their stores are threatened, I doubt we will...even in the most extreme and dire of circumstances. Food prices have already been hit by ethanol and exporting in prior yeas. I am afraid we ain't seen nothing, yet.
