In the Pacific NW we have an amazing assortment of food, being that we are 'next door" to Asia. and tons of fresh sea food and fruit /veggies. Lots of "farmers markets" in the city. people are really spoiled here. (in more ways than one).

Do you have Trader Joes?

Ha ha Wares!!! Yeah, that's why I had to get rid of ours! I drive an escape!! Lol!! Much better and it can still haul feed!

Barelracing, honey I feel for you! We too get in ruts. Do you still live at home? If you ever need some recipes we on here will help out! When I was in HS my parents had really demanding jobs and social lives, I only saw them 1 or 2 times a week. I did all the grocery shopping for them and learned how to cook. It was just me, my horse, and my dogs! We would have starved!
I used cooking as a creative outlet, I made alllll kinds of weird fancy salads and dishes, some worked out, some not so much!!!!! If you ever need help holler!

Nope, where I grew up there were just chicken farms!!! Now NWA Is booming and up there we finally have good organic farmers markets and some much nicer specialty stores. Taco bell moved into town and we got our first stoplight when I was 16!! Woohoo we were big time!
Things are a changing! Hopefully we can get a whole foods sometime soon! We do have a co-op organic grocery but it's ridiculously priced, need some competition.
