Dermabond Skin Adhesive

So, yesterday my ex calls me up and says that Seth had split his lip wide open, and had to get it glued shut. They glued it instead of stitching it.

I am wondering if swimming is out of the question for the 5-10 days it takes for the adhesive to fall off? I got a little information sheet this afternoon about the adhesive, but it doesn't really offer much for information on swimming.

I just got Seth one of those inflatable water parks, and I want him to be able to use it. He wouldn't be soaking the wound in water, although I can't promise that it wont get wet, in fact it's safe to say that it will. It wouldn't be prolonged exposure to the water, as I don't like to let Seth play in the water for hours and hours on end.

Anyone have any experience with this Dermabond Adhesive stuff?

Sorry Moxie... I'm not much help. All I can say is give your/ his doctor's office a jingle and ask a nurse. They should have the low down on that stuff.
