I think it's the guard rail that makes it "ok", drop offs without a guard rail give me the jitters.

Also, hold on a second, you came down to the Columbia River Gorge and didn't come see Lacey and I? What is this?

Go figure, I was there for a month working in The Dalles, and had nothing to do on the weekends if I'd only known I could have actually met people I have stuff in common with instead of sitting in my hotel by myself, or site seeing by myself.

Ewe, me and heights do NOT go well together. At all. Im terribly scared of heights. I can't even climb a ladder to the roof of our house without getting frozen to the rungs half way up. I freeze completely, and for about 10 minutes try to convince myself to take a step back down... Hah, Its even better on RollerCoasters. At a theme park once I finally got convinced to go on a ride that went upside down, with lots of twists, turns, ups, downs... When I got strapped in I was fine, but when it started slowly, oh so slowly, inching upwards to the giant drop off, I lost all my composure. I started shaking, and screaming at my friends to stop it and let me off. Never the less, no one could do anything at the point, so closing my eyes, putting my head down, I screamed and cryed the whole ride through... I HATE heights. And roller-coasters. And Lighthouses. And ladders. And anything higher than about 5 feet.
