On occasions, when I go to the beach I like to sit out on the sand and just fish. Although I need to renew my license before I go again. And I have a lake at home that I will occasionally catch catfish, brim, and bass. Oh and I've been trout fishing a few times.
The only thing about fishing I hate though is if you get caught on something, it's a pain in the arse to retie another hook and all that such. Or when you don't put the bait on good and it flies off. You have to be careful of how you do these little detail things.
I go fishing when our family is up at Tahoe, in the summer. I actually like fly fishing, though I don't have a proper rod. I don't fish enough for my dad to spend the money on a fly fishing rod. All the places I've fished are trout places, though I would LOVE to go deep sea fishing just for the experience. I also like using lures. I'm not that big into live bait and such, just because I get too bored just sitting there, which is why I like fly fishing. I'm constantly reeling in the line, then casting it, then reeling it in, blowing off the fly so it floats, ect. My mom fishes, and she's the one that loves the bait. She's not a big fan of constantly casting and reeling in the line, she much prefers putting bait on, casting it out, and then leaving it sitting there while she reads a book.
