what does it mean when you dream about an ex ? ive been having really bizarre dreams the last few nights and in all of them my ex who i dated for a few years is there. we broke up 3 years ago and it was the best thing i ever did ! i have never even thought about getting back together with him and im completely happy with the guy im with now.

it all the dreams im trying to get away from him or avoid him.

why do i keep dreaming about him ?!?!?!

Dreams are such a weird thing I don't think there is too much to really be concerned about. Your brain runs through thoughts and concerns that you have, maybe you've been thinking about him, still feeling trapped in the relationship..or something? Maybe none of those. First dream could have been random, then you continued to think about it then it kept reoccurring because of that.

Why did I dream about Ian Somerhalder screaming about my abusing my younger siblings by not getting them pizza a few nights ago...I don't know. I don't think subconsciously that I abuse my siblings. Haha. We are all very close and get along great.

I have definitely had this happen. I just chalk it up to my brain being an odd one. I dated a guy in high school off and on for about 3.5 years, and at the time I was completely head over heals for this guy. Looking back it was NOT a healthy relationship. I am so glad things ended when they did because 3 months later I met my now boyfriend. I was 17 when we met and we have now been together 5.5 years.

Bottom line - I don't think it means anything. Brains are weird. Dreams are weird.

I have weird dreams all the time too. They are actually really entertaining and sometimes I hate it when I wake up and realize they never happened, especially if it was a lucid dream. I wouldn't look in to your dreams too much. I rarely give mine a second thought and perhaps yours are just your subconscious replaying what you wish you would have done back when you knew eachother.

I've been married for almost 8 years, LOVE my husband, LOVE being married, but still have periodic dreams about exes or even random guys I don't even know. In fact, I think I'm single in most of my dreams... but then again I also dreamed that it rained so hard I woke up to find Shamu in my pool (which I don't really have)

who knows! dreams are weird....

Dreams are your brains way of telling you a bed time story when you're already asleep. Often featuring characters from your real life. :)

Relax, it's not your subconscious telling you you're really in love with this guy and need to renew the relationship.

Dreams are your brain's way of working through issues in your life. If this person was a source of stress to you and you're currently having stressful times, this is your brain's way of trying to make connections and find a solution.

Either consciously or subconsciously, your brain is always working on solutions to your life issues.
