Last year, the temp here was 84F on March 20th. Yesterday? 18F. The ground's covered and it's snowing as I speak....Spring, come faster!

Although, compared to those of you up North, this isn't all that bad

I have some new pictures from FB to share...

This is the Trans Canada highway West of Regina. BTW, this is a four lane highway.

Snowplows got stuck trying to clear the road. Funny enough, Carlyle got nothing yet. :Knocks on wood:

Yesterday was mild, for us Canadians, no wind, sunshine all day. This morning it's overcast again and it snowed for about 10 min. Enough already.

Well, that much snow in Sask sucks -- no place to go skiing! :)
Yet another awesome day on the slopes! And more to come next weekend! I love Ontario! :)

It is hard to imagine it snowing somewhere right now. But, every place has some flavor of undesirable weather. Today it was so windy I had to put goggles on to feed, as opposed to just shooting glasses. Man, I hate the wind.

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

I wouldn't mind some snow. Course' it never snows where I live so it would probably be some big ecological disaster or whatever if it DID snow.

But it won't. *sighs at rain*

Our winter is finally on the way out, warmer temps all week next week means everything will thaw and be muddy. My grey gelding will look like one massive poop stain for the next little while :)

It's been a long winter. We've had over a foot of snow on the ground since the second week of October. Two recent snowfalls in the last week or so have dumped over 2' of additional snow. Like others, my driveway is getting very narrow. The fence posts on the sides of the road in some areas are nearly gone with 6" or less showing over the snow line. The plow piles on the sides of the road are taller than the car, and that is after the ditches have accomodated large amounts of snow. It was -20C here at 9:30 this morning. Luckily we did get up to about -4C today and it was sunny, but tomorrow is forcasted to be cooler again.

I'm really starting to resent winter...
