I loved my 4runner......a lot actually. That thing ran FOREVER. I had a 91. My mom had an escape, she complained it was too small. But, this from a lady whos favorite ride was an excursion.

From an auto shop office managers point of view though.....4runner parts, depending on the year can be hard to get, and a Biznatch to repair..... the escape, being a pretty common ford, is a little easier on the wallet in maintenance.

Thanks for your input! That is something I will have to talk to my friend about as he will be doing all the repairs on it :)
