So I started doing some wood carving after my health took a bad turn. Some relatives suggested I put them on an etsy shop which I had never heard of. So anyway I did. My shop link is at the bottom of my post. So if you have a minute check it out and let me know what you think. My horse carvings are posted in the artwork section.

    Try this: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MarshMayhem

I am not sure why but it will work for a bit and then the link stops working. So if it does just copy and paste in your browser and it will work.

Does anyone know why it does that?

I love Etsy! Have been selling my handmade goods on there for years.

    Very nice!
I wish you the best of luck with your new shop. The wood spirit is my favorite. Looks so detailed. :)

I like etsy but I think they should help sellers out on the listing fees.

You know, I tried Etsy (I make chainmaille jewelry). My plan was to sell a few things and use the funds to buy more supplies, since I don't have a lot of money. And I only sold one thing, and to a friend. So when my listings ran out this time I just didn't renew them. I had a some interest and a few views, but I was losing money even when I opted to pay for ads for a while. So disappointing.

Try ebay. They give you 50 free listings a month.

Also try shophandmade.com. It's an etsy type beta, with no listing fees and a 3% on sales
