    Phenomenal...
Can you imagine how devastating it must have been for that poor lady to wonder for 13 years where your children are? That is devastating because getting a good family relationship now that they are that old is going to be sooo hard. My prayers go to that poor mother.

No kidding....especially as it sounds a bit like the daughter didn't want to be found, and if the kids were happy with their life they might be resentful. Not that the mother didn't do the right thing - certainly she did - but it's going to be hard for them all. My prayers go to them.

For sure eh. One thing that I wonder about, is the reason for the father kidnapping the kids like that. Was the mother sane? Was he sane? What were the children psyched into all these years? Which parents was right? Wrong?

That is going to be one heck of a recovery process that's for sure, but regardless comes to show facebook isn't a safe place to be on!

Exactly - it doesn't say anything about the kids being mistreated or anything and we certainly don't know the details, but it's shameful when parents use kids to hurt each other. Having been raised in a split home, and divorcing when my child was young myself, it's important, to me, that the child is on good terms with both parents and doesn't have to listen to their folks bad mouth each other. I think it's sad that the mother missed out on her kids childhood.

And ITA with the whole facebook/etc thing. My best friend has a teenage niece who is frequently posting pictures of herself in bikinis etc on her myspace page - and I just cringe. Anyone who looks at her page has her name, the town she lives in, the school she goes to, and what she looks like - bad, bad, bad idea.

Also I started to wonder that. That has to be devastating and traumatical and perhaps the way the daughter acted is just a kind of defence, but I still wonder intensity of her negative reaction toward her mother and removing the Facebook site etc (reading the article, I caught her reaction was pretty intensive even of course we have to remember that media doesn't always tell everything about the case it's talking about). Or perhaps it was daddy behind all that, again..?

Anyways, I hope all the participants can get over that without bad psychical traumas. Even I highly doubt that things like that leave always wounds on you.
