Fuel prices/what is it where you are?

just got back from getting a load of stall bedding & gas is close to $4 again I am sure it will keep going up with the negative corn harvest.
I'm bracing for a scary winter.

Back up to almost $4/gallon, at $3.98/gallon. Sure be nice if we could get oil from those 1,000's of wells now shut down in the Gulf of Mexico.

We are down to $3.65 last time I was in town. Of course, our local gas station is up to $4.80. Needless to say, I would rather coast on fumes into town rather than buy gas there o.o

San Diego is coming up to $4 again, I just paid $4.03 but am seeing $3.97 a lot around town too. My dad works in the industry of storing gas for the county (NOT setting prices or working directly for an oil company mind you, he has no control expect to make sure stations get gas) and he says there is no shortage, in fact there is often a surplus. Prices are high because gas companies know we'll pay them :(

I think ours are hovering around $3.50-3.85. Good thing about living and working in a small town is that the only time you really have to use gas is when you go out of town to buy groceries. I've not filled up my car in over a month. I am really concerned for November. IMHO, if Obama wins again, the gas prices are going to skyrocket overnight. I suspect he's keeping them manageable just until the election in hopes of getting more votes.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

We pay €1.64 per litre....

*sigh* at some stage last year I was complaining when it hit €1.20..

Stop for a minute, open your mind, learn. You may not agree with what I say, I may not agree with what you say but we will both learn something new.
