Fun Dating Ideas

I myself am not use to dating at all and as you can see from some of my previous topics I'm a total amateur at boys and stuff.....


I figured that you guys could post some of the fun dates you have been on or what would be fun.

You can also post the ones you hate the most...lol. Such as the ones I have hated the most....

-Bowling (went with a guy I hardly knew and it was WAY awkward.)
-Dance (be sure to go with someone you can have a fun time with.)
-Haunted House (fun...but go to one with a guy that's not humping your back the whole time.)

Keep in mind...these are some that I have only had experience with....

Lol, I guess it all taught me some things about teenage boys.

(if only my mom would let me date a college student.....jk)

Hmmmm you could always go ice skating... that's always fun. Or if there is like a cute little town with shops and cafes and such you could walk around there for a bit.

So where i'm at that would be gardner village... (I use to work there with little ponys!!) or ice skating would be fun!

I've never done this, but I always thought that riding a horse on the beach would be fun, especially if the guy liked horses, knew how to ride and like going FAST! Lol

I think something horse related is the way to go. That way you can see his potential with regards to horses. Cause of course you can't date anyone that doesnt like horses

Beach riding is an awesome idea. Maybe a rodeo or other horse type event.

I think a rodeo would be a lot of fun for a date, there wouldn't be any pressure of "having to say something", you could both watch it and have a great time and be yourselves Of course he needs to like horses

I went to a rodeo for a date and the whole time I was like omg the poor kid/cow/horse/something! My bf pretty much told me to shut up and I wasnt aloud to go to one again haha... but we had been together a while so it was ok :)

I've also been ice skating (with the same boy) and its heaps of fun esspiecally if ur bad and their good cos then they hold ur hand to help you

Ummmm me and my bf have been together 2 years and we still havent gone on a picnic, but that's something I really want to do!

Go to shows where theres everything from horses to rides their the best cos then they can win you stuff I have a HUGE stuffed pony

Drag him horse riding if he wants to be with you hell come and they usualy enjoy it. But REMEMBER don't laugh at them

I usually like doing active things.....

I've done the roller skating thing, movies, dinner, hanging out at their house, walking the park, ect.

One of the fun ones I had that was with someone I totally don't care about at this point in my life was walking through the park and running through the sprinklers just laughing and talking. Going to an ice cream place and sharing fries, ect. Miniture golf is kine of fun, fairs are a lot of fun, rodeos are really cool. Lol

The BEST date I have ever been on (wasnt meant to be a date, but turned into it) was with my current boyfriend (of 4 1/2 yrs now) and we went on a 4 hour drive to Seattle to the Ozfest concert (only because I had free backstage passes from meeting KISS during my job) and I needed 4 ppl to go. I called him up and he said sure. We got lost and made some stops along the way, and had a bunch of fun. We actually only made it for the last 30 min of the concert lol. On the way home it was late and the other two ppl fell asleep in the backseet. We bumped hands....which turned into holding hands :). And we drove home that way hehe

I can't remember any worsts right now.....but I like group dates better for a first until you can get to know someone, then it's more fun to go on more personal dates. Its always good to see how that person acts with there friends and your friends there I guess. But that's just me. SORRY SO LONG!

Oh ya! Fishing, hiking, bike riding, walking through a park and FEEDING THE SQUIRRELS! Hehe I did that one and it was so silly, peaceful and lots of fun.
