I have 44 acres of dirt, dead grass, a few weeds and some more dead grass.

It's so bad here that even those who own shares of irrigation water aren't getting any water. I found some beautiful 25/75 alfalfa/hay mix.... at $10 a bale! Uggggghhhhhh

hay around here is $16 a bale and up.

I think that was for really large bales, though. And not in bulk.

If you buy in bulk it's a lot cheaper. I jsut saw some ridiculously expensive prices when I went to the grange and saw this price posted.

I suppose I'm more proud of my paddocks than my garden, so have more photo's of that. But I'll try and dig some out.
In the meantime, here is a sunset over the dam last week :)

Did you arrange all the plants yourself or did you get it professionally landscaped? Either way, it looks beautiful!
We've been having a pretty decent rainfall in the NE as well. I might have to take a few photos of my "garden".

In my case, I planted almost every plant in my garden, except the larger trees , which are about 50 years old. I never had a landscaper. But, I read a lot of books and have a ton of mistakes;; thing's I wish I had not planted, things that died, things I have moved from one side to the other
I always said that if I could genetically engineer plants with built in wheels I would make a fortune.

Those veggies are very attractive and everything looks amazingly pest free and healthy. NO slugs or bugs?

And the paddocks look like a place one would want to hang out for hours.

Nope, no slugs or bugs and the low electric fence? To keep the dogs out. They had decided the potatoes were a great place to dig and lay. *sigh*

We're insane... We have 24 tomato plants... 12 beefsteak types, and 12 romas. I am NOT looking forward to all the canning to come lol

And I do have to say I envy your garden. I can't get flowers to grow to save my life... Weeds and veggies yes. Flowers? Nope. *sigh*
