So we were supposed to go look at the puppy yesterday around 3ish. We called as we left the house and everything (around like 2ish) and the guy said that he had to work overtime at his job (a state policeman) and that he wouldn't be there and neither would his wife :(
We were quite bummed out, but he said 7pm would be good.

So we drove around, saw the horses and chilled at the office until 5:30. Then we left to see him :) It took like an hour 15 mins to get there. The house was like in the middle of no where, but there were TONS of horse properties around! I was in heaven!

We got to the house, and the puppy was bigger than we initially expected. But he was calm yet playful and just had the cutest face!
So after a while of talking to the owners, and seeing his parents, we got him

He was a gentleman on the ride home, except for the slobber that was on my pants but I honestly didn't mind.

He's not leash trained, but we're working on it, and he's crate trained, so that's good. He had one accident so far (a pee) but he took a number 2 outside last night and then this morning he did his business I woke up early to take him out, but I didn't mind. He's a very good dog, afraid of my father-in-laws dog, but that's a whole other story.

We named him Chief... after the Master Chief in Halo 3

I'll upload more pictures later today

    Thanks FGR and South! =)

He is such a good boy! Just had his first bath and he was wonderful. He comes from a German Bred line of German Shepherds. And he's 18 weeks.. don't remember if I said that before.

Thanks for the book Vida! Tom and I really like and follow Cesar Millan, but i'll definitely look into the book. Thanks so much!

He's going to be a monster, look at those paws!
Here is the only photo I could find of my Shephard Keeper. We don't have any more snow and Daisy wouldn't leave her alone. She says Hi Chief

    I got some more pictures!
He's a good boy. He had another pee pee accident yesterday, but he's still learning and adjusting. We left him out of his crate last night and he was a dream. Layed on the floor next to the bed and didn't have any accidents.

He's also being exceptionally well behaved at the office. He's currently laying down on his towel underneath my desk, and barks whenever someone comes in. What a good boy

He's definitely going to be a big boy. His dad was huge, and his mom was a bit smaller.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Thanks. Me too! I've been waiting to get a puppy for over a year now.

Chief is turning out to be such a great dog. We're doing a lot with him and telling him where and can and cannot go, along with what he can and cannot do too. He's walking very well a leash and really understand that outside means to do your business. Even though he has had accidents, he's doing good.

I'll have more pictures uploaded soon.
