Question Getting a coloring book published??

As some may know I started a thread awhile back doing horse cartoon funnies and many have suggested getting them published in a book. I was thinking of making a coloring-type book but was not sure how or where to get this done?
I live in Alberta, Canada if that helps and wouldn't like to pay a ridiculous amount as I would plan on selling them for a reasonable price to anyone interested
Do any of you know how to do this or where to get it done??
Any advice would be great!

Just as reference, here is the thread Horse For Sale Cartoon Funnies. Ideas!?

I would definitely go ahead with it! Never hurts to try! :) If you self publish it will be more difficult but surely you can go to your local tack shops and try to make them sell them there. You can also try selling them online on websites.

A ride a day keeps the worries away!

^^ that's the plan so far ;) though I would like to find somewhere to get them made that wouldn't cost more than I would want to sell em for

Lulu.com will publish for you (but you don't get prototypes) and take a very small "cut" out of your check. You can use PayPal or they mail you regular checks, I believe. (:

Or, you can get a decent printer and do them on an at-home basis. After all, they won't be in color (the covers you can print elsewhere on photo-grade glossy paper if you must) so it's a small investment to you, which means that you can sell them for a smaller price (no one wants to pay $8+ for a coloring book!) and get more of a consumer base. Personally I would say a book of about 50 pages, I'd sell for $3-5. (The shorter, the cheaper.)

Another good idea would be stickers! Sticker machines aren't cheap, but the cheap ones they do have, you simply print, run that paper through the machine, and it makes it into a sticker. You can then trim it up to suit your needs, pack, and send them away. I used to have a sticker machine and a magnet machine, but they perished at the hands of my 2-year-old nephew some years back. :(
