Unhappy goodbye friend...

As I write this I am crying my eyes out, I am only just able to make out the letters of the keyboard.
My puppy Bobble is moving to a new home as I type.
I'm in my room because I knew I would cry as soon as I saw his new owners. (Turns out I started crying anyway)
We breed dogs and Bobble was the runt of one of our litters so he was unsellable. I cared for him and looked after him, he followed me everywhere and then he got strong and dad said he had to get sold,
Today mum got a call from the vet saying some people wanted him.
I know he is going to a good home and I know i'm being AWFULLY selfish about this...

Saying goodbye, for any reason, is never easy. I'm sorry you're hurting. *hugs*

You're young, you're bound to get extra attached. Don't let your dad upset you either. Just take some time to miss the puppy, and think about how good his new home is. =]

Nothing sillly about saying a sad goodbye. My guess is that your dad sometimes feels sad about such partingss, but does not allow himself to show his feelings. It's hard on men, they arent' allowed to cry. But I still think he maybe shouldn't call your feelings "silly".

I did feel kind silly though I guess... I was crying pretty hard. And I did know I wasn't going to keep him...
That's the thing tinyliny, I don't think he has much feelings for animals.
When Marlea bit my sister he said he was going to send her to the knackery.
He said sorry after but still.

Oh, people say all sorts of things. I love my cats, but I always say to them, "you lazy , worthless , good for nothing cats. I oughta skin ya and eat ya!. " Then they snuzzle up to me and I am an idiot for how much loving I give them. Me and the cats are best buds, but I "dis" them for fun all the time.

I agree with others, nothing wrong as to saying a sad goodbye :).

Give yourself time to be sad for a while, it will get better.
