Talking Guilty Pleasures!

So what has everyone bought themselves (or horses) recently?

I bought 2 Joules tops in the sale! I am a bit of a Joules addict.

Well, I bought my horse. Does that count? It was the one and only guilty pleasure I've allowed myself since I bought my laptop 4 years ago. As a mom I never, ever buy myself stuff. Ever. I'll wait till every single one of my socks is dingy gray before I buy new ones, lol. My biggest purchase for myself is an occasional McDonald's breakfast after I drop my daughter off at school. So, you see I have guilt issues about this, lol.

He knows when you're confident
And he always knows when you have carrots.

I didn't buy anything but received two pairs of MuckBuster boots for Christmas! Love those boots.

I did treat myself as well as my gelding to a trainer for trailer loading issues Walka has. Definitely has been worth the cost, and has lead us to a clinic with this same trainer hopefully to be scheduled in the beginning of March (will be doing this with 3 friends, so getting dates together now to give to the trainer).

This trainer when working with Walka and myself in trailer loading, commented that the horse trusted me but I did not trust the horse. Made me stop and examine what he said, it was true. So that is what lead me to the clinic with him. Really excited about it and working with my boy to get where we need to for this riding season. Best part, hubby is paying for the clinic, belated Christmas gift!

I am obsessive over buying my horse new things... I have a list that just never seems to end. The last time I bought myself new clothes was... gosh, I don't even remember LOL.

Next on our list is a dressage saddle (a used one, mostly just for schooling).

I bought my Jack russell puppy a new collar, a jacket that looks like a horse blanket by pessoa, and 2 t-shirts. One is just plain blue with brown trim and a paw print on it, and the other in a military green and it has a chick and a magnet on it. So now he is a chick magnet.

Two shirts today. On the other hand it was flea market and those shirts cost 1 euro and 75 cents total.
