Guys, can you support me for a scholarship?!

    Hey guys!

I recently entered the Dr. Pepper's scholarship contest. The way it works is you post what you plan to do in the future, and pretty much people can vote for your cause to get you up the list. Once I'm at 50 votes, I can make a video better explaining the goals with my life, and then hopefully get more votes from there and get into the top few. It's a longshot but it's worth a try for me.

I can explain my goals briefly here, so you know why you'd be helping me. My life goal is to go to medical school. I want to work in surgery - specifically, in trauma. I have since I was REALLY little. I'm already partway there- I'm a Junior in college and an EMT. I intern at a wildlife center fixing up the animals that come in, giving medications, etc. I put in word volunteering at hospitals.

As I'm sure you all know medical school is NOT cheap - I'm lucky if I graduate less than 6 figures in debt. This scholarship/tuition help would be a HUGE relief from having to worry about all of that. I can't even explain how much it would mean to me.

Here's the link to it. I do think you have to 'log in' with Facebook, but then It's literally just a click to vote, nothing fancy as far as I know - Click the big thumb 'vote' thing and you're good to go.

I'm not sure if this kind of thing is frowned upon - if it is I'm sorry! But I've been around for a while, so it's not like I'm making an account JUST to ask. Many of you at least know me online (enough for me to deserve your support? *hopeful*)

    Thanks all!

For some reason the vote button isn't working for me here at school, so I'll try at home, but if I can do it you get a vote from me : D

Well, I only need one more till I can make my video appeal... And then I'll need hundreds if I hope to compete with anybody! I hope I can be convincing enough!

Thank you all who've commented/voted so far! :)

So, I just looked at the leaderboard... The leading person right now has two *thousand* votes.

I need to get better at rallying for this kind of stuff. Again, thanks all who have helped me so far! You're all awesome!
