Had a good day

As some people on here know I recently got a job at the end of July. I just had my three month review and my scores were really high! So next thing I know my GM wants to talk with me which resulted in me getting freaked out. Turns out he wanted to let me know that I'm receiving a raise and a bonus! I'm now making $10.50/hr and my bonus was $50.00. It may not sound like much, but to a 17 year old working their first real job it's something that I feel really good about. Anyway, just wanted to put that out there. I hope everyone else had a good day too!

Seeing the results of hard work pay off is always a good thing. You put forth the effort and now your reaping the rewards. I would say this is the first of such things to happen to you.

Congratulations...1/4 of Americans make less than $10/hour, so you are already in the top 75% and only 17...

Our minimum wage is $9.95 in Alberta and it's the lowest in the country.
