Hey girls I made some cookies this weekend and they were GREAT!
They looked like big candy corn! They really were x-tra yummy and I would suggest making a batch. The family's going to dig 'em!
You just take a roll of refridgerated sugar cookie dough. Let it warm up a bit ( room temperature) and knead in some food coloring to make it orange.
The dough will be a bit sticky. I used just a pinch of flour to be able to handle it without adding too much so they are hard. I then stuck the dough back in the fridge to make it hard so it could be rolled out. I did it overnight but an hour or so should be good.
Roll out the dough and cut it into triangles. I used a butter knife.
Bake the cookies. Let them cool.
Then melt semi-sweet chocolate in a small bowl and melt 2 cubes of white almond bark in a small bowl. Dip the point of the cookie in the white and the base of the cookie in the chocolate and set them on waxed paper to dry/set up. I dipped the white then the chocolate do 1 cookie at a time and then lay it on the waxed paper. I don't think it would work too good to dip all the whites then all the chocolates. It would mess up the project. You want to only pick it up once make sense?
If you want to try this and I'm not making sense of it... Pm me and I'll write the recipie word for word so you can understand. It's really easier to do than explain! :P
