has anyone gone to a spa before

i am being serious... my chiro thinks i am having muscle problems in my back and thinks a massage will help loosen my kinks since adjustments are not helping much and i am losing my flexability...
areas of focus: lower back, along spin, shoulders, neck and shoulder blades... key points he want to be addressed...

the receptionists at the spa's say good things about everything...

so the problem is there are so many **** choices...

does anyone have any recommendations??

thanks :)

I love massages! I usually go for the deep tissue massage or the Swedish massage. I just tried every one and kept on with the one I liked best, takes time doing it that way!

If your chiropractor is suggesting a massage I would say go to a massage therapist that works in a chiropractic office. They will work at a therapeutic level and not to just relax you.
Just a suggestion :)

good suggestions. i will have to look into the therapueitc ones. last time i went to one of them they messed up my lower back :( but maybe he will have a reference or something to someone who is good. i will also look into the deep tissue massage as that sounds just about what he is talking about more or less
