I haven't made the Greek style yogurt, but I do make regular yogurt. You could make regular yogurt, then strain out all extra moisture and it would be very thick and Greek style.
It's generally called yogurt cheese when you do this, but is almost the same thing. Amazon
or other places sell nice little electric yogurt makers (althought you don't have to have one) that work great! And it's actually very easy to do.
I have made yogurt from regular milk, goat milk, and soy milk. (Soy is more difficult.)
