Help! Need track/running soreness advice asap
Okay so I joined our girls' middle school track this spring because I'm really fast and think it would be fun. It started yesterday, and after running a total of 3 miles (about a mile up and down stairs, jogging around the track, consecutive 50- and 100- meter sprints, and etc. We didn't have it today because of early release. So it gave my legs a chance to rest lol. I don't run regularly, though I'm very in shape, doing all the work for my 4 horses by myself...and I'm VERY sore from running that much yesterday. However, I'm excited that I stayed in front of the pack the whole time:). But my legs are killing me right now and I can barely walk normal let alone run another 3 miles up and down stairs tomorrow afternoon.....any suggestions for letting my legs get better overnight so I'll be okay for tomorrow? Or will they be okay after two days on their own? LOL I feel like a wimp haha but any suggestions?
