    Help with photography/music magazine please?

    Hello...

I'm making a music magazine front cover when I go bback to school & i've been asked to collect some ideas & evaluate on ideas given ect ect....

My music genre&theme is girl rock and its going to be like a gothicy theme...

My model is going to be my sister.
She's slim with blonde hair...& this is my idea of how to present her...
-Im going to back comb her hair and spray it with hair spray to give it loads of volume.
    -pale face
    -dark eye makeup
    -red lips
    - black or navy blue head band with flower on which will hold her hair back away from her face...
    -baggy flowery top
    - tights with holes in..
    -leather jacket
    - military boots
    - accesoried like that are black/studs ect.
    - have a guitar somewhere involed

The only problem I really have is what background to photograher on and in which way to use the guitar..

does anyone have any ideas, media students or not it doesnt matter...every suggestion more thna welcome please...

If theres anything you would change/add/include ect please let me know, or if theres anything you dislike let me know I wont be offended.. its only a draft idea...

Personally, I would go for more of a sexy grunge look, or sexy Goth, depending on the age of course. I mean, if you really think about it, sex sells, it doesn’t have to be overly sexy, but more skin. Go for LOTS of accessories, bracelets, necklaces and such, I'd shoot some with and without the headband. Fishnets and high heels, a tanktop and maybe some large sunglasses.

Does your sister do modeling? Does she know how to contort her body to help accentuate her best assets? If not, then I would look at some high profile modeling to get a good idea.

If you have access to an old car, or truck, the more rust and decay the better, would be AWESOME if that truck/car is out in the country. Do her makeup real dramatically, dress her up and shoot her with the guitar on, in and around that car. Maybe an old run down building or warehouse. I'm not really sure what area you live in or will be shooting in. The Car/Truck would be good for a rock-a-billy- type cover, where I think the run down building/warehouse will be good for your grunge/Goth.

The editing will be the best part! I LOVE editing, I can go out on a photoshoot and shoot all day, but all I really want to do is get back and edit those pics.

I'll be interested to see the pics!

    Aaaa, great.......

That's really helped. Thank you so much.
My sister doesnt do modeling but she does high level dancing so she's round models all the time.

I can see the car and that used really well but not to sure where id get one..

I'll have a think about it. It will be my first magazine freont cover I've done so im not exspecting it to be amazing but hopefully it will be good by using all the codes and conventions,

Thankyou so much for this help means alot ...<3
