Yeah I know it sounds weird... I hate writing and I'm writing a story! Crazy I know!

Horses are scared of 2 things:
1. Things that move
2. Things that don't

I write all the time and have been since middle school. I never even would have assumed it was for homework.....

"Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy"

Editing and proof-reading to me does not mean "doing someone else's homework". Heck, the bulk of the work is done, it just needs to be cleaned up. What is wrong about asking for help with sentence structure?

Because editing and sentence structure *is* a critical part of writing. Regurgitating thoughts onto a blank page is not writing. Writing takes skill, practice and patience. Just as in riding there is no quick fix. Having used that analogy, I will end by saying - I will give you a leg up but I will not ride your horse. ;)

wow, you are an awesome writer! I don't really see anything wrong with it!! Keep writing! I was writing a book (two actually) but now I lost interest, and completely lost it when I found this site. Well, maybe not completely though - after all, Everything on this site is writing.

@ 66Domino: I did tons of lengthy writing for fun. I used to love it! I actually wrote four chapters of a book I was going to write. All of it was for fun. I still am slowly working on it, but only for fun. I won't ever publish it, but I will be proud of my work.....all of which was just for fun. Heck, We are all writing our life story - and we won't be able to go back and edit our mistakes, they are engraved in the book inside us forever.
woops, the writer got the best of me! sorry if I offended, it's never my intention.

I used to write for fun all the time. I was, however, familiar with the use of the paragraph, and how it helped the reader digest a lot of text.

If people didn't write for fun then NaNoWriMo wouldn't exist.
