    Question Horse Expo!!

    So just a few questions.

1- I want to get a second helmet, one for schooling. What's a good brand that isn't super expensive? I'd like to know beforehand so I can just grab it.

2- Tall boots, my mom said I can get a second pair of tall boots, because we're going to larger shows this year, and my current ones are kind of in disrepair.
I can't remember, but does anyone know if they have things on consignment at the expo? I don't want to make her spend tons of money. It's not fair.

No, there are no consignments at the Expo (if you are talking about the one in PA). As for helmets - Troxel as well as IRH offer cheaper models (Troxel can be around $30). Just be careful and make sure it fits your head as well as your budget.

Please don't get a helmet on consigment....You never know how old they are or if the owner before ever had a major fall with it!!

    I agree with kitten_Val....IRH/Troxel!

Thanks!! I wouldn't get a helmet on consignment, was just hoping I could get used boots. Oh well(: maybe I'll find ones that aren't crazy expensive

I'm really glad you told me that IRH has cheaper helmets! I love the way their helmets fit my head. I wouldn't have even looked at them because my current helmet, which is an IRH, was 150 dollars at the expo last year!!
