House is Haunted.

My uncles house actually creeps me out so much. When I was younger my cousin and I used to play the Ouija board all the time in the guest room closet (we were small but yes, it was a little odd lol). We never really got "through" to anyone but weird stuff did start happening, things would go missing, stuff would be misplaced, and not just your normal misplacings either. Coffee mugs would show up in fridge, knives and forks would be in the microwave (which would have been really bad if someone were to turn on).

Then there was also cupboards being open, all of them. You'd leave the room for a few moments, come back and the sink would be running boiling hot water, it was never cold.
Now I know old houses creak but this house almost sounds like its breathing. Yes it could just be my imagination, but I swear it creaks a bit and then almost sighs. Sometimes when it starts to creak it gets REALLY loud, I begin to wonder if theres an earthquake, or if somethings just crashed into the house. Anyways, this went on for a few months and then eventually just stopped.

All of this occured at least 4 - 5 years ago. My cousin has moved to vancouver, and we no longer play the Ouija board lol (haven't for a loooong time).
So I was sitting here about 4 hours ago, my uncle had just left for work and I'm by myself, next thing I know the house starts creaking. I think nothing of it, proceed to scroll through the new posts on HF by this time I kinda have to go to the washroom so I go and when I came back out, the chairs to the kitchen table were pulled out from the table, and the cupboard doors were all open. I am now in my uncles room sitting on the bed FAR away from the kitchen, but remotly close the the guest room

What do I do? I've never belived in that sort of thing before, but this is just way out of hand. I've checked the rooms, no ones in the house with me.. Anyone else have similar problems??

I've never had this kind of thing happen but I have never played the Ouija board or anything like that. But I have heard of many stories of these kinds of things happening and my own cousin has been into this kind of stuff. In my opinion, the Ouija board is connected with powers that are not safe to play around with. People that have had these kinds of things happen, have had to destroy it and anything that might be connected with it.

If you would like more information on what I believe about this matter feel free to pm me.

My ghosts open doors. There was one that would throw stuff at you but if you yell at it, it usually stops.

However, yours might be ghosts, might be something else. Ood luck, and be brave.

I haven't "seen" whatever it is that's doing this. It's really strange though.

Kentucky, what did it look like? Or was it just flying objects?
Could you tell when things were going to happen?
I'll try yelling stuff next time anythings moved, although I hope "it" doesn't get angry by this and start whipping stuff at me lol. (I know I shouldn't laugh, it's keeping me from being scared though)

Also, does anyone think this "spirit" or whatever it is could follow me home? That's the last thing I need.

I've also experienced my bed covers being pulled off at night (when I spent the night at my uncles). That is most definitely the worst.

Hey there!

Welcome to an eye opening experience :) This is very true, there are many different relms of existance and you ended up experincing one of them.

I firmly believe in ghosts and hauntings and sprits - because I grew up with it and still experience it today.

There are 3 different explanations.

Ghosts - these are those who died suddenly, or died without "completion" of the life they had when they walked this earth, or who were so connected to something - - - the light didn't come for them when they passed. The majority of ghosts, are hauntings. They have no clue that they died, so they continue on as though they were still alive. They are stuck, grounded in that particular area. They need someone to tell them that they passed, and to go home, go to the light.

Spirits - These are the one's who know they died. The light came for them, and they crossed over. They went home, but are able to come back into our plane of existance to visit, to say hi, to check up on things. They are not grounded, they are not stuck - they come and go.

Risidual Energy - This is something that occurs in a certain location, where something detramental happened. The one's who experienced this in this location could still be alive, could of passed and crossed - but the energy from the occurance still resides. Recycles over and over and over.

Awknowledge what you are experiencing. Don't let anyone make you feel foolish for this, don't let anyone discredit what you experienced. Accept it, and investigate.

Firstly, talk to your uncle about this, those who live in this house. Find out what they have to say. Find out the information, maybe they know more than you think or that they lead on.

This could be a Ghost. A Hauting - where the one you are crossing planes with, doesn't know he/she is dead. They could be stuck, the light didn't come for them - so maybe you can help.

If you have a digital camera, take pictures. Go to where the most activity happens, and just start to take pictures. Go through them - do you see balls of light? Do you see myst? Do you have a digital video camera? If so, turn it to night vision and do the same - you'd be amazed at what you catch.

Anyways, I have to get to work - ttyl.

I really do believe in stuff like this, which some people find odd, becasue I'm usually a see it to believe it girl.

My ex was playing Ouija board (and I could get this a bit wrong because I am not familiar with the game) but he was told that he had evil sprits with him that were going to make his life miserable. The next day at a party a picture was taken of him inside, with no smoking in the house, and they is a smoke like devil looking figure on him lap.

Oija Boards are something that should never be fiddled with. They are lights to the "dark side" *lol....I sound like some jedi night in starwars....the dark side....* anyways - these are not to be taken lightly.

Whenever someone plays with these things, they are inviting "insane" "nutty" beings, even negative forces.

I guarantee you, whenever you use one of these things - you are opening doors you don't want to deal with. Never believe what you are told, never - they love to play with you. Stay away from them.

We used to play with the Ouija board when I was little. Shortly after, I had to do some pretty horrible things getting rid of one of my little sisters' dolls, because I SWEAR it watched me. It OPENED its' EYES to watch me. It was one of those dolls that had eyes that opened when you moved its' head back and it talked and moved its' head.

More recently, I lived in an oollld house here in Birmingham. On one of the first nights there, I was there by myself. I went to house-watch and sit with my dog overnight because I was excited about it. I slept in an upstairs bedroom, and had my covers snuggled up around my face, folded down neatly because I hadn't been in bed for too long. After all of the normal creaking and groaning of an old house, and the fact that the doors and windows moved without any wind or angle of its' foundation moving (the whole house leaned juuust slightly, it was built on a hill), I was a little bit wary. But something turned my covers down. I didn't touch them and they were pretty secure, the blanket was a coarse, non-fluffy one. I dragged the entire bed downstairs and slept beside the front door. XD We stayed there for about a year, and I never did like to be upstairs alone. It didn't seem to be malicious, but it was still...I'm not good at that sort of thing. I've always been leary of what a lot of people say about it, but I've never believed it wasn't true...Lord, I wish we hadn't played all of those stupid games when I was little! Now that I'm older, the whole trying to summon ghosts idea doesn't seem so brilliant. :eyeroll:

So no, you're not crazy! I have absolutely no idea what to do about it other than don't try and summon them up (really, honest, I don't know how I thought that was a good plan..), but. XD

Oh, sorry for the double reply -- but I forgot the most important part of the doll thing. I took out its' batteries. :P -shudders- That still gives me the shivers. Still, she's beheaded and somewhat crispy in some dump right now, whether I was just insane or not..xD
