How do you put pics in a post?

How do you put pics in a post? I tried many times but it just showed the letters:S:S:S

For an image from your computer click the Upload Picture link when posting. For and image fromt he internet you can type [IMG] the url [IMG] without the spaces and the caps....hope this helps!

Ok, I tried this before, not sure what code I used. I have crafts and can't remember stuff. Lol I wonder why it didn't work before.. I was using a pic from my pic gallery then and now I can't find the link to there. <scratching head>
