Yes it is :). Once I was away from my crazy friends and alone he finally came up and we talked for a long time, before ending it with making plans to go out sometime :)

Even if it does come up from someone else, it's one of those things that I'm sure he'll understand why you didn't tell him. And if he doesn't, well, there's deeper issues there.

Like wares said: your past is just that, past.

There are things I've done that I will probably never tell my boyfriend about, even though I have friends that could tell him. Why? Because I didn't actually do anything wrong and he doesn't really need to know. Same applies for you and this cop.
