How to survive a please..

So I am going on vacation with a family, who has a daughter who is very rude, etc. I don't want to go into details but I am sure you know where I am going with this.

I can't stay away from her because our hotel rooms will be next to each other, our parents will be doing things together so we will be doing things together as well, and I simply can't stay home.

Any tips?

Listen to your iPod with your earbuds in when you are around her.

Be on your absolute best behaviour, chances are the parents will notice, hers and yours and enjoy the activities of the vacation! Don't let her ruin it for you, try to hang out with your parents and enjoy their company.

Just go out and find some friend to hangout with that's in the same hotel as you. That way you always have someone else to hang out with AND an excuse to leave the room.

Be open with your parents about your feelings towards this girl and then treat them like your buddies while you are out. If your parents didn't want you there and didn't want you to have a good time, they would have found a place for you to stay. Make an effort to rise above this challenge and have a good time. Make her parents jealous that they don't have a good, fun kid like you.

Treat her like an animal with positive reinforcement. When she is rude, ignore her. When she is pleasant, reward the behavior with friendliness.

Get your big girl panties on and appreciate you're getting a vacation.

Thank you guys for the replies. I'm not one to start getting in fights, etc.

I think that I will try to make friends with other people in the area and hang out with them.
