I've had sleep problems on and off for years for various reasons. One piece of good advice that I've gotten is only use your bed for sleep. Don't read in bed, don't study in bed, don't sit in bed and watch TV. And if you've been lying in bed for more than a half hour and haven't fallen asleep, don't continue to lie there. Your body needs to associate bed with sleep and if you are doing all these other things in bed, that association gets messed up.

i have sleeping problems too, not so much as i used to though. i used to barely sleep ( maybe an hour a night) but i was never even tired during the day. the sleeping problem kind of just went away on its own i guess.
anyway, good luck finding what works!

You should calm down and listen to soft music. And you can do yuga before you sleep, only sit quitely and think about some peaceful and beautiful things.Such as sea, prairie and sunrise.Sitting in meditation that is a useful way when i cannot sleep well. You may try and good luck!
