I found my lunch in the pasture this morning, morels!

I've been anxiously waiting and finally there's fungus among us. These weren't there 2 days ago. Now it's time to hit the woods! Anyone else addicted to hunting & eating them?

I don't like any mushrooms, but yeah, we used to hunt and eat those (by "we" meaning the rest of my family :) ) in a past. They go well roasted with the potato.

Love me some 'shrooms but since I wouldn't know a Morel from a Hazelnut, I stick to what I find in the store.

I love mushrooms but I cannot tell the difference between an edible mushroom and an icky toadstool so alas all mine are store bought

My mom was a mushroom hunter & gatherer, me not so much, unless you count the produce isle. Truth is, I am afraid I might pick some poisonous ones, but I do know which is which, so that is my excuse.
