I have a real problem. Need opinions.

ok so here's the lowdown.

I was born...fast forward 22 years. I am doing a childcare course, I looked in the local paper and apparently the childcare centre that I do my work experience hours at for my course is offering a traineeship. But here's the thing, I'm 5 weeks behind all my other classmates because of my learning disability, which is pretty severe. I travel 3 hors every tuesday to another agricultural college every tuesday to study equine industry and general other life stuff. Now mum says she thinks I should take the traineeship (which I might not get and that would suck, because my self esteem is already sub-terranian) The traineeship is not necessary for the course, and i'm already completing the work experience hours, be it slow and painful, as i don't really like kids but I needed to do a course to do something else. So i just thought i'd grab people's opinions, as next year I'll be doing my diploma in Equine Studies, which is 3 days a week and nine hours of driving. the traineeship ranges from a full 5 day week to alternate 3 day weeks....

I can't change! I'm like a Chameleon...always a lizard!

Dont do the traineeship if you dont like kids.
I wouldnt want my kid being looked over for someone who didnt like them so it's a waste of time, money(?), and the possibility of a blow to your confidence if you dont get accepted.

I agree someone who doesn't like kids doesnt need to do an internship. Waste of time for you as well.
Question what do you wanna do in equin studies whats your goal?

For me it sounds that time isn't right for the course just now... Would it be possible to choose some another course later, especially if you don't like kids?

Why in the world would you take a childcare course if you don't like children?

That would be like someone taking an equine health care course who doesn't like horses.

Total waste of time and money.

the course cost nothing and it keeps me getting study money which is what i need since jobs are scarce right now and the equine course doesn't fill study requirements by itself.

If the internship isn't required, I would still skip it.
