Oh my, I am so sorry for your loss. Many hugs and prayer to you and your family.

Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend clearly has not seen a horse.<3

I can relate. I am 24 now and my big brother passed away in 2005. He was born severely disabled and he died from complications of his disabilities. He couldn't hold food down (he was fed through a tube in his stomach) and so he basically starved to death. It was a long horrible death. He spent all 19 years of his life struggling and suffering for a lot of it.
I am sorry you are going through this but it does get better, trust me. Also, make sure you allow yourself to grieve fully. I was in denial for years and would get so angry whenever anyone would talk about it.
If you ever need to vent or scream, or just talk, feel free to message me.

I thought maybe that was the reason. I'm so very sorry. It's not like losing someone to disease or old age.

Please don't blame yourself. Those truly determined to commit suicide and not just looking for attention rarely give anyone any clues. They didn't kill themselves to get away from you, they did it to get away from themselves and the demons they were carrying around inside.

Have you and your family considered therapy? I believe very strongly that it can help quite a bit in these types of tragedies.

I'm to hear about some of you losses as well, and thank you guys for the condolences.

Yes Speed Racer my family is considering therapy, I go back to college at the end of this month so i'm trying to find support groups and counseling up there. I figure I will have a much harder time back at college when I'm away from my family.

We believe my brother wasn't in his right state of mind. My 10 year old nephew (my sisters son) found him dead. My brother would never want his nephews to find him in that state, he love those kids. My nephew will be put into therapy

I do have guilt with all of this, some days worse then others but I try to talk about it with my family. My brother had many demons and we knew he did, try to help him but it never worked.

I am so very sorry for your tragic loss. It wasn't that he didn't think you loved him, I am sure he knew that, but he was fighting his own internal battle. I don't know that love alone can get someone through that, I am pretty sure it can't.

If you are not ready to leave your family yet, can you talk to your college and see if you can miss a semester? I think it's important that you go at your pace right now.

Thinking of you and your family.

I'm not sure i'll be allowed to skip a semester of college or not, I'm just making sure that I have support groups I can attend and see how that goes for now.
