It does make the process a little easier knowing they are excited. My eldest ones couldnt wait. The youngest introduced her self the other day to her teacher next year. "Hello My name is ......... I will be in your class next year. Can we do painting??" Funny funny

Awwww that's sweet. I go in on Thursday to do preschool screening with him, it'll be nice to meet his teacher and see his school.

Ok...the EX may scrub it off...but....when my kids started school, on the first day, I took a sharpie marker...( I used red) and drew a small heart on the palm of their hand. It made me feel better.

Now that my oldest daughter is *gulp* 14! I still draw the heart on her hand when she has had friend issues or a big test and was nervous or wasn't looking forward to the day ahead.

I went to my son's preschool evaluation and did loads of paper work. Of course my son did so well.... He'll all set for school starting next week... I'm not sure how I feel about it right now. I KNOW I should be happy and excited for him, and believe me, if he were living here with me, and going to school here, I would be.. I'm just more concerned with some of the issues going on in his fathers home.. *sigh* Deep Breaths Bobbie...... Deeeeeeeeeeeepp....
