That's good. I am working on my resume so I can send it out too. We're on the same job hunt lol. I got a call from one vet that I had applied for last night but I hadn't realized the postion is full time so I couldn't take it :( I was really hoping to get that one too. Oh well. Hopefully both of us get something soon!
With being a full time student and working at the barn I don't have time to be full time. I would literally have time to do nothing else besides go to school, work, and sleep. It was such a good job too. Really good pay. I put a bunch of applications in today so hopefully something pans out.
I'm going to ask for part-time. Hopefully I'll be able to get to the barn every once in a while. :P
This job is going to pay for my horse.. I have my eye an a GORGEOUS sorrel tobiano TWH that I can get papered if I want (but he's 4 so it's not worth it). I go sometime this week with my trainer to see if she or I like him.
I'd have to save a bit. I get only $400 from my last job's paycheck, and I need clothes. :\ If I get the job I WANT, I should be able to afford him-- or a horse in his price range-- in a month or so. My board isn't terribly expensive-- $250 for pasture, stall, hay, grain, etc.. and I am working out a plan for my trainer to exercise him 3x a week.
That place ALWAYS has good racking horses, so I'm not stressed if he sells.
