Good on you getting out before it ruined your attitude. I worked in a job I hated for almost 6 years and I'm still paying the price.

I hope you can get that job you're looking at, it sounds really good.

I have about 3 choices right now. I really don't see how I could hate a job like it. It's ALL animal care.

Gah, I concur :/

There's two cafe's in our town. I work at my trainers, but I used to go work at the 1st cafe after school a lot. I ran into almost all the same stuff you did.

Long story short, I now work for the other cafe

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

Well, one kennel job was a huge no. She was looking for, like, adults(Not that I'm a kid.. just 18 is all) with years of training and experience. XD It's hard to gauge that from a 1/2 inch ad in the paper that just says 'KENNEL HELP p/t f/t wkend' and a phone number. XDD

Well that sucks :/ I really hate when people are looking for a ton of things and don't put them in the want add. I generally like to stay away from those places though. If they can't take the time to sit down and write out what they are looking for, then they probably aren't very good business people.

Best of luck with the job hunt, I know how it feels to be stuck in a job you dont enjoy.

Just started a new job myself..... unfortunately all the pre-job hype about the company isn't quite working out. But just got to stick it out in the hope something better comes along.

Any updates? I've had one interview a few days ago. Haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully I get something soon. Things at my job are getting worse.
