Just say you're happy to be there and are looking forward to being part of the church in the future. Be welcoming to anyone who might come up to introduce themself to you. Churches are a community and its important that you are polite and humor people with small talk if them engage you.

I haven't attended a church yet that asked people to stand up and introduce themselves. Usually the minister or pastor will make a broad statement about welcoming newcomers. You can always sit near the back where knowing you can slip out unobtrusively might make it easier for you to remain.

This has been my experience as well for the most part.

I am a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and we have a greeting time during the beginning of service before the offering is taken up. Everyone gets up and walks around saying hello to each other and welcoming the visitors. We always tell them out name and listen for theirs. Usually there are several members who will again seek out the visitors after service to see how they liked the service and further show our gratitude of their visit.

Just remember that church isn't what gives you courage and hope. It is he who created you who you can ask to give you those things. He is listening and waiting for you to ask him.

Yeah, I have never been to a church that asked me to stand up and introduce myself. Good thing, I would find that very uncomfy myself. I would say the probability is pretty low that that will happen. It will be fine.
