Im always tired!

So i'm always tired! I get about 8 hours of good sleep a night but all day I find myself unable to focus and cant even keep my eyes open. This past week i've had to take a 1-3 hour nap everyday after school just to keep myself going and even after that im tired again in about 2 hours!
Whats wrong with me?

What is your diet like?
Have you had your thyroid/iron levels checked?

I eat healthy, no major changes. And no I have not have my thyroid/iron levels checked.

I often have anemia. I take a prenatal supplement once a day and it usually helps. May try looking into something like that.

I remember my senior year, and also being so exhausted that I slept from the time I got home till supper time. Also got 8 to 9 hours sleep. Doctor said it was mono.

Good luck to you, don't let this drag on, get checked out by your Doctor.

Aqua, I've always had this problem.
I know for a fact I am anemicbut vitamins don't really help the sleepiness.
Some other contributing factors might be:
depression
not drinking enough water
Chronic Fatigue Syndrom

If you are worried about it I would get to the doctor. I just roll with it when I'm tired... take a nap when I'm not busy, or stay busy when I have things to do.

I agree with getting thyroid and hemoglobin tested. I'd also suggest a sleep study if those tests are normal.

Are you absolutely sure you wanna mess with my carrots?

Try taking a multivitamin. Any of those one-a-days are good, but cheap, and they really increase your energy level.
