    Ew. Mono sucks.
When I had it though, I had all sorts of other symptoms besides just being tired.

A woman physician once told me "All females need 10 hours of sleep a night, plain and simple" Wish I could try her theory out sometime.

Look up Excessive Daytime Sleepiness. You're basically tired all day, no matter how much sleep you get. Naps do help some.

See if you can get an appointment with a dr that specializes in sleep disorders and see what he suggests.

Be also sure there aren't anything wrong with the quality of your sleep. Like sleep apnea or something.

Also I'd suggest you to meet your doctor if that makes you worried. Good luck anyway !

It's not normal or good to be sleepy all the time. There are many sleep disorders. I have one called CNS (central nervous system) hypersomnolence. I am always tired.

Excellent answer. I had the same issue for years until I had lab work done for surgery, and was discovered I am anemic which explained the fatigue. Been on iron supplements since and I feel 110% better.

I think a quick visit to you GP would be a good idea and get some standard blood work done.
