I'm back!

I'M BACK!

Miss me? ;) didn't think so.

Yes, its hard to believe it but 8 weeks has passed very quickly, and I am officially back online. Don't expect to see me nearly as much as you did though.

Being gone for the last two months has really helped me focus and prioritize. I've seen a significant increase in my studying and grades, and my family has actually commented repeatedly on the fact that I seem much more relaxed because I'm not " trying to solve the world's problems " all of the time.

Coming off of the caffine, computer, and sugar was hard at first- I actually was so addicted to the caffine that I went through two weeks of withdraw migranes and some nausea- but after that initial two weeks I found myself with much more energy and able to think clearer. I'm glad that I did it!

To catch you guys up on whats been going on in my life- the biggest news is that Sour had her baby on 9/11/12. You may of seen the thread on her a month ago- and...suprise! Its a mule. Dispite that fact though, I'm absolutely in love with her little long ears baby who I named Honor in memory of those who died on 9/11. She's quite the little spitfire and though she's still rather shy, she's coming along nicely and Sour is a wonderful mother!

After this 'incident' though, I did decide that is was in both of their best interest for me to go ahead and buy both Sour and her filly- and they are both officially mine. I hope to be able to support both of them but in the case that I can't, I will have to sell Honor as a weanling. Until then though I'm going to enjoy them immensely! Unfortunately I can't take any more pictures of them though...my camera is still broken and I cannot afford another.

Other than that, some other news is that Connor, my wobblers 'puppy' (who is already a year and a half old, can you believe it?!) is going in for another surgery this week to fix his left back tendon with the hopes of helping him walk better. We also finally found a home for Kenzie- our foster fily from the OTTB rescue- which is a miracle considering that she will most likely never be sound or healthy enough to ride. Best of luck to her!

But what about all of you? Any new additions or big news that you care to share with me? I've missed you all greatly!

A few pictures of cutsey Honor the day after she was born: Can you believe that she's already an inch and a half taller and 15 pounds heavier than her little mule playmate who is almost three weeks older than her?

What color do you think she is? ;)

Welcome back!! Cute baby! Only news I have to report is that 4 of "my" horses had to be sold last month, as sad as it was it was for me, it was the for the best and the horses all went to the same great home and to someone I know.

Being horseless is the pits!!

haha, I know ^^ I was just teasing. I missed you all more than I care to admit...even those of you who's sole goal in life seems to be to step on my toes! XD

Thank you Tiny, for the congradulations :) I'm rather nervous about owning them since I've technically never actually owned one before (even though I've done all of Sour's training, care, nutrition, etc for years) but I guess we'll just take it a day at a time. I just really didnt like the situations that she was getting into and I figure that being with me can't do any harm. This way I can control who she goes to when I go to college too- whether that be to another person who will love her as much as I do or with me! I'm not so sure about Honor though. I have lots of experience with babies so that isn't an issue- I just don't know if I can support two horses- small as they are.

HorseLovinLady- I'm so sorry to hear that! Selling any horse, let alone four- can be heartbreaking, but sometimes, unfortunately, its what we have to do. My condolences. I'm glad to hear that they went to a great home though!

Thanks, but it was in the horses best interests. I'm just glad they all went to the same place and with a good person. I still have Bonnie, her 4 year old daughter Cheyenne, and her filly from 2011 Tequila to love on and work with.
