I'm pretty sad right now..

Hey all.

Well, my older sister (she's 23 and I'm 17) is moving to England tomorrow night. I am really sad right now. I am going to miss her so much! She's moving for a whole year and most likely won't make it home for Christmas this year. I can't believe she'll be so far away for a year.

I feel for yeah.....i'm the youngest of 4, in high school I had 1 brother who was stationed in germany ( f-18 fighter pilot) and my sister and brother both were in france fir a year......being older now it doesn't bother me now, we all live as far away as posable from each other as we can!!!!

I believe you feel sad. Luckily there are internet and other instant messengers today so you can keep in touch with her.

My brother was stationed in Germany when I was younger, and my other brother in London. It was hard not seeing them. As Tamma says atleast you have the internet to keep in touch.
And England isn't too bad, its where I live.

It always stinks when they move out! My brother moved about 400 miles away when I was 17....It felt like it was an ocean away. But as others have said at least now we have the 'net to keep us all in touch. That year will pass quickly....Hang in there and just make sure she knows how much you love her and will miss her.

Oh... Just remember that we are all here to tak to, also a year will go by way faster then youd think (even though im sure that didnt help).

Aww! I know how that goes. My sister is 12 years older than I am. I don't really remember this story but my mom tells me about it sometimes. When she was a senior in high school she was an exchange student and she went to Finland for a year. I missed her so much and one day I was crying and said: I don't have to go when I get older, do I? Our dog missed her too. She'd sit and watch out the window every day for her to come home!

But she came back! Then I missed her too when she moved out. I remember a little bit of some of it. But when I came to college I missed my pets and family as well. It'll get easier! *hugs* We're here for you.

Hey pooper, you are missing something here! Now you will have the chance to visit your sis in England over the summer. How cool is that?! Save your pennnies!!

And isn't there that free long distance phone service/video service you can use (name escapes me...but I know its FREE!)

Ah you will do just fine, and she will as well. My brother served a church mission to western Africa for 2 years, my other brother did the same but went to Greece. It's always hard the first couple of days and will take adjustment, but time will be done and over with before you know it!
