I'm so stupid! iPhone issues.

So I've been having issues with particular people reading my texts because they're sad excuses for human beings...so someone suggested putting a password on my phone. However said person knows me VERY well and would guess most everything... So I picked something fairly random and instantly forgot it. What do I do?! I changed my phone over to "never" lock itself so hopefully I won't accidentally do it before I can get real help..but ah! Anyone ever done this before??? I kinda wanna plug it in and restore it to factory settings but I'm worried that would do nothing but restart it, in which case it would likely lock. Going to call verizon tomorrow but at the moment I'm like NOOO my own stupid is hurting my brain!

I "hopefully" figured it out (thank you internet!) & I was on the right track with restoring. I'm syncing all my stuff now so atleast if I lock it I won't lose anything.

I'll definitely do something better next time, that's actually how I forgot it to begin with I was like shoot! That's bad I need to change that before I forget & was trying to think of what to change it to...& poof. My issue is The phone hijacker in question knows all my usual things & just about everything about me so it's really difficult to think of something he wouldn't be able to get.
