I have a Macbook and and Iphone 4s but I am also thinking about upgrading to the 5s because of the fingerprint scanner and the slow motion video which I think is really cool! Plus I like that the 5 is much lighter but still bigger than the 4. But I am also considering the galaxy s4 because that phone is pretty darn sweet too. Aso, I love HTC because they make a very good product. It is so hard to decide! Good luck!

I know!! I was looking at the HTC One too... Looks pretty good. There were a few complaints, but others had good things to say. Based on my experience with this HTC phone I'd definitely get another!

I do REALLY like the iCloud feature! IMO its a pain in the bum to transfer all the photos, and I'm sure it comes in handy for other things!

Decisions, decisions.

I've got an iPhone 4S and I love it. I have a couple friends with the 5s and there's really not too much difference besides a few features and a larger screen.

Last year when I was staying with relatives for 3 months, my uncle got a new Droid and he had no idea how to use it. So I helped him all the time with it. I hated it. My iPhone was so much more "user friendly" on where to find things.

To each his own.

If you get an iphone don't get a 5s or 5c, I've heard that apparently they are terrible compared to previous iphones. If you get an iphone maybe a 4s, they are better. Id say get an android, better phones if you ask me.
But that's my opinion, you pick whichever one you would like best, not an easy decision getting a new phone :)

If you're going to go Android, I recommend one of the bigger brands (Samsung, HTC), because otherwise you're going to have compatibility issues with downloading apps, difficulty finding a case, and the like. However, there is a LOT more choice in what you want to do with them, customise them, etc.

If you're going to be using an Apple computer, it's much easier to use an Apple phone if you ever want to sync them. But you can't do as much with an Apple phone as you can with an Android (same for the Apple vs Windows computers).

well it really depends on you, my friend prefers android and hates iphones but when I had an android I wanted to throw it of a cliff at LEAST once a day and I've never wanted to do so with my iphone, ironically enough I can't use apple computers to save my life but all they're touch screen stuff, I'm totally comfortable with. You probably have a friend with an android and a friend with iphone so ask if you can try both, fiddle around with it, make calls and text, whatever it is you normally use your phone for.

Thanks for the replies everyone!! I think I'm going to stick it out for a little while longer. The screen is plastic so the crack is more on an inconvenience then a safety hazard. I think I might give the iPhone a whirl, I guess worst case I'll have to return it within the one month window. I've had plenty of exposure to the I iPhone. I think the hardest part is that I wouldn't mind having either one. I can be very indecisive!

In which case, go with the iPhone, then you've tried them both, then you can pick which you prefer or choose one with your eyes closed

Have fun with whatever you choose :)
