Not sure what you think of this/sizing (I'm awful with conversions)

    ebay.com/itm/Mother-of-the-Bride-Long-Dress-Size-Up-to-Plus-6XL-/250857546757?pt=US_CSA_WC_Dresses&var=&hash=item3a 68466405

Oh this one!!! Vvv Customized size

    Ebay.com/itm/Long-Evening-Prom-Formal-Ladies-Ball-Gown-Wedding-Bride-Dresses-Custom-Plus-Size-/321192441886?pt=US_CSA_WC_Dresses&hash=item4ac88fb 81e

    Or this one

    Ebay.com/itm/Green-Chiffon-Plus-Size-Bridesmaid-Formal-Evening-Gown-Prom-pageant-party-Dress-/321194126012?pt=Bridesmaid_Dress&hash=item4ac8a96a bc

Pretty photo from your last formal...I never liked going to formals, then again, my husband was a CW3 when we retired and several formals were strictly officers, or mostly officers and a few enlisted. I am a jeans, tennis shoe or hiking boot, t-shirt, baseball cap type woman...but I cleaned up well...

Have fun, enjoy yourself, and relax. Oh, your bf doesn't wear his uniform or is he not in the Marines any longer?

He left the Corps in 1997. However, he's still allowed (and kind of expected) to wear his dress uniform to the Birthday Ball.

I'm more comfy in jeans, t-shirt, and boots, but I like to dress up every once in a while.

Just thought I'd update this for those that were helping me. I bought a dress last week off eBay and it should be here probably Friday.

This is the dress I'll be wearing:

Now just gotta figure out jewelry and shoes (definitely going with flat or at the most a wedge...my feet and ankles just can't tolerate heels since I gained weight ).
