Just because I thought it was super cute....

I thought I would share this with all of you. While taking my son to the zoo one day, we came across this, I still giggle when I watch it:

    Another angle:

What I loved the best was my son's reaction lol.

    Hope you enjoy.

Not stupid at all, they're porcupines. I think they are super cute and cuddly! Lol Course I wouldnt want to get too close one out in the wild.

The first time we walked past their enclosure, the dancing one was climbing up the side of his pen and back down again. We got quite the show! Lol

You know what's interesting? I live in the country. I've seen a lot of porcupines and pulled a lot of quills out of dogs. Thankfully, not horses (yet!). And I find this video upsetting. From my "country-bumpkin" standpoint, all I see is one very unhappy porcupine. That's why he's "dancing" -- he's not -- he wants out and he is depressed. I find it terribly sad that any animal display would not have a better set-up for the poor creature. I wonder who else was living an unhappy life there. :(

I thought the same exact thing Northernmama.

Wild animals are not supposed to be in tiny enclosures and such.
That's why I don't go to zoos, I get too upset.

Though your son was extremely cute in the video
